Airport Hilton site of first TV Land Convention

Former “Dallas” and “I Dream of Jeannie” star Larry Hagman, “Brady

Bunch” cast member Barry Williams, and 12-time Emmy winner Carl

Reiner will be among the celebrities appearing at the first official

TV Land Convention on Aug. 16 and 17 at the Burbank Airport Hilton.


More than two dozen former television stars are expected to attend

the event, which will include on-stage appearances, panel

discussions, video presentations, TV trivia and look-alike

competitions, and an exhibition of TV memorabilia from 1 to 7 p.m.

Highlights include a “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In” reunion featuring

Dick Martin, Alan Sues, Ruth Buzzi and Gary Owens at 4:15 p.m. Aug.

16. Reiner, who played Alan Brady on the Dick Van Dyke Show will host

a panel discussion about his new memoir, “My Anecdotal Life,” at 4

p.m. Aug. 17.

Tim Conway (“The Carol Burnett Show”), Sherman Hemsley (“The

Jeffersons”), Bernie Koppell (“The Love Boat”), Dawn Wells


(“Gilligan’s Island”), Erin Moran (“Happy Days”) and Jay North

(“Dennis the Menace”) are also expected to make appearances.

Tickets for the event are $20 in advance, $25 at the door and $15

for children 7 through 12. Children 6 and younger are admitted free.
