Senior Artists Colony project to be showcased at meeting

The Burbank Senior Artists Colony apartment complex project will be

showcased at the August breakfast meeting of the Seniors Housing

Council of Southern California.

The meeting will be from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 21 at the Newport Beach Radisson Hotel, 4545 MacArthur Blvd., Newport Beach.

The project, which broke ground July 23, is scheduled for

completion next summer. Special features include a 40-seat theater

and projection room, video and film editing bays, wet and dry studios

for fine arts activities, live performance spaces, a computer lab,

game room and library.

The cost to attend the meeting is $25 for council members and $35

for nonmembers. An additional $5 will be charged for walk-ins. The

deadline for making reservations is Aug. 18.
