‘Walk and Roll’ today to benefit MDA

Between 400 and 500 people are expected to turn out for “Walk and

Roll,” a 5K run/walk to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Assn. taking

place this morning at Lake Balboa.

A team composed of studio employees from Disney, Sony, Warner

Bros. and DreamWorks will walk in honor of Jeff Cole, a Burbank

resident who died earlier this year from amyotrophic lateral

sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

Live entertainment will be provided. Registration begins at 8

a.m. at the site, 6300 Balboa Blvd., and there is a $25

participation fee.
