Spot on traffic committee open

The Burbank City Council is accepting applications through Aug. 29

for a vacancy on the Traffic and Transportation Committee.

The vacancy is for an unexpired term ending June 1, 2004.

The committee consists of 10 members, including five appointed by

the council and five representatives from various departments,

including police and public works. It meets at 2 p.m. on the second

Thursday of every month.

Candidates must be Burbank residents and cannot currently serve on

any other city board, commission or committee. Applications are

available at the city clerk’s office, 275 E. Olive Ave., or online at

www.ci.Burbank.ca.us.
