TOM AND MARIE ROBSON

Tom and Marie Robson celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on

July 13 at The Castaway restaurant.

The couple has lived in Burbank since 1949.

Tom, a World War II Coast Guard veteran, retired from Pacific

Telephone Co. in March 1978 after more than 36 years of service.

Marie, a Minnesota native, also was employed by Pac Bell, retiring

in 1950 to become a homemaker and mother.

The couple were married in Reno, Nev., at the Methodist Church in

1948. The couple have one son Gary, daughter-in-law Ing Britt and

granddaughter Jessica. The couple’s daughter Susan passed away

earlier this year.
