MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH

* North San Fernando Boulevard and East Burbank Boulevard: A

34-year-old Los Angeles man reportedly struck a 22-year-old Los

Angeles woman in the face with a closed fist Wednesday following an

argument while the two were traveling in the same car. The suspect

left the scene before police arrived.

MAGNOLIA DISTRICT

* 3311 W. Magnolia Blvd.: A 30-year-old Pizza Hut employee told

police that a customer spit on his right arm after an argument about

a food order. The suspect left the restaurant before police arrived.

MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH

* 1011 N. San Fernando Blvd.: A 19-year-old Glendale man was

arrested Wednesday on suspicion of stealing a bike from Kmart. He

walked out the front door when an employee noticed him and called the

police. The suspect was arrested about five minutes later while

heading southbound on San Fernando toward East Burbank Boulevard.
