KNBC names VP of creative services
MEDIA DISTRICT WEST -- Ginger Zumaeta was named vice president of
Creative Services at KNBC-TV Channel 4, NBC announced Monday.
Zumaeta’s responsibilities for NBC’s Burbank-based studio will be
directing the station’s advertising, promotion and other creative
services.
She will relocate from WMAQ and WSNS, two NBC owned-and-operated
stations in Chicago, where she has worked as a vice president in
advertising and promotions since August 2002. During her tenure, WMAQ
became the leader of other local stations at the 10 p.m. news hour,
according to an NBC news release.
Prior to working in Chicago, Zumaeta was the vice president of
Creative Services for NBC10 in Philadelphia for two years.
Chamber mixer is Thursday
MEDIA CITY CENTER -- A cash drawing of $250 will be up for grabs
during the Burbank Chamber of Commerce’s monthly mixer from 5:30 to
7:30 p.m. Thursday at Gordon Biersch Brewery, 145 S. San Fernando
Blvd.
As the sponsor of the event, the brewery will provide
complimentary valet parking.
