SCOTT
Frances Lilly of Glendale and Beecher Scott of Sherman Oaks were
married at Burbank First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Larry
Stamper officiated.
The bride, in a beaded pink gown, was escorted down the aisle by
her grown children, Charles Lilly of Burbank and Sharon Lilly of Los
Angeles.
Catherine Davis-Cox and Philip McNiven sang “Always,” and “Indian
Love Call,” during the wedding ceremony.
The ushers were Scott’s grown sons, Roy Scott of Canyon Country
and Wayne Scott of Sherman Oaks.
On their honeymoon, the couple drove up the Pacific Coast to
Canada, with stops in Morro Bay; Victoria, British Columbia and Lake
Louise, Alberta. They will make their home in Glendale.
The bride is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where she majored in
psychology. She is a retired secretary, who worked for an accounting
firm.
The groom graduated from Van Nuys High School. He is retired from
the U.S. Postal Service.
The couple, who met at the Methodist Church Bible study class,
were both previously married and widowed.
