GEORGE STANLEY DE LORENZO SR.
George Stanley De Lorenzo Sr., 78, died Sept. 4, 2003, in Van
Nuys.
He was born May 9, 1925, in Jersey City, N.J., and lived in
Burbank for nine years.
He worked as a truck driver for 30 years.
Mr. De Lorenzo is survived by his wife, Francis; sons, Michael,
Vincent, Anthony, Dino and George Jr.; daughters, Agnes, Janet,
Donnamarie, Diane and Bernadette; 19 grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
The service was Thursday at Valley Funeral Home and the interment
followed at Riverside National Cemetery.
Valley Funeral Home was in charge of direction.
JOSEPH E. PAPERO
Joseph E. Papero, 83, died Sept. 5, 2003, in Burbank.
He was born March 18, 1920, in Forks, N.Y., and lived in Burbank
for 46 years.
He worked as a truck driver for 60 years.
Mr. Papero is survived by his wife, Louise; daughters, Barbara
Torres, Patricia Pawlak and Donna Gilpin; son, Joseph; six
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The Mass of Christian burial was Wednesday at St. Finbar Catholic
Church and the interment followed at San Fernando Mission Cemetery.
Valley Funeral Home was in charge of direction.
FLORENCE LUTGE MANFULL
Florence Lutge Manfull, 83, died Sept. 6, 2003, in Coeur d’Alene,
Idaho.
She was born in Hollywood and was a longtime Burbank resident.
Mrs. Manfull is survived by her husband, Walt; children, Ann and
Gary; and five grandchildren.
The funeral service was Friday at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
TERESA TROTTA
Teresa Trotta, 82, died Sept. 10, 2003, in Burbank.
She was born Dec. 13, 1920, in Star City, W. Va., and lived in
Burbank since 1947.
Mrs. Trotta is survived by her husband, Frank; son, Dante;
daughter, Diana Mitas; 11 grandchildren; and 13
great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. vigil
service Monday at Valley Funeral Home, 2121 W. Burbank Blvd. A Mass
of Christian burial will be at noon Tuesday at the Mission Rey Chapel
in the San Fernando Mission Cemetery, 11150 Sepulveda Blvd, Mission
Hills.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American
Parkinson’s Disease Assn., 1250 Hylan Blvd, Suite 4B, Staten
Island, NY 10305-1946.
