Next Frommer show to focus on landmark health-care bill
Assemblyman Dario Frommer (D-Burbank) will launch the second
installment of his cable show at 9:30 p.m. Thursday on Charter
Communications Channel 25. The 30-minute program, titled “Capitol
Connection with Assemblyman Dario Frommer,” will focus on SB 2,
legislation on the governor’s desk that would require business to
provide health insurance for employees. Thursday’s guests will
include Jack Lewin, president of the California Medical Assn., and
Anthony Wright, executive director of Health Access.
Along with discussion about the bill, Frommer and his guests plan
to debunk what they say are myths about the legislation. The show
will also touch on other local issues of concern.
The program, which is hosted by Frommer’s press secretary, Karen
S. Kim, will air every Thursday at 9:30 p.m. and at 3:30 p.m.
Saturdays in Burbank, Glendale, La Crescenta, Montrose and La Canada
Flintridge.
