* Sunset Canyon Drive and Harvard Road: A 17-year-old Sun Valley

boy told police that someone struck his car with two golf balls

was arrested Sunday on suspicion of possessing marijuana.

MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH

* 1000 N. San Fernando Blvd.: A 45-year-old transient was arrested

Monday on suspicion of stealing a jacket from K-Mart and pulling a

knife on a clerk who approached him.

* 2200 block of North Frederic Street: A 20-year-old man was

arrested Saturday on suspicion of punching a police officer in the

face while the officer was detaining him at a house party.

MAGNOLIA DISTRICT

* 1920 Clark Ave.: Two 16-year-old girls were arrested Monday

after allegedly fighting after school at John Burroughs High School.

SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT

* 1000 block of Bruce Lane: A 48-year-old Burbank man was arrested

Sunday after allegedly hitting his 46-year-old wife during an

argument at their home.

* 154 W. Providencia Ave.: A 46-year-old man was arrested Sunday

on suspicion of vandalism after allegedly ramming his car into a gate

at Gerard and Peterson Tool Yard during an argument with an employee.

* 200 block of West Magnolia Boulevard: A 49-year-old Burbank man

was arrested Sunday on suspicion of driving under the influence and

resisting arrest after crashing into another vehicle and becoming

belligerent with police.
