* 761 N. San Fernando Blvd.: A 30-year-old Burbank man was

arrested Tuesday on suspicion of stealing a laptop computer from Comp

USA.

NORTHWEST DISTRICT

* 1700 block of Hollywood Way: A 25-year-old Modesto man was

arrested Tuesday during a routine traffic stop on suspicion of

possessing marijuana for sale when police found several baggies

containing the illegal substance in his vehicle.

* Hollywood Way and Burbank Boulevard: A 29-year-old Aliso Viejo

woman was arrested Monday on suspicion of possessing paraphernalia

used to inject heroin -- a spoon, a syringe and cotton balls.

BURBANK VILLAGE

* 260 E. Magnolia Blvd.: A 16-year-old Pacoima girl was arrested

Sunday in the Gitana parking lot on suspicion of possessing a

marijuana pipe made out of an apple.

MAGNOLIA DISTRICT

* 1200 block of West Magnolia Boulevard: A 27-year-old North

Hollywood woman and a 35-year-old North Hollywood man were arrested

Saturday during a routine traffic stop on suspicion of possessing

methamphetamine and controlled substances without a prescription.

* 200 block of South Mariposa Street: A 56-year-old Burbank man

was arrested Saturday on suspicion of making criminal threats to

police officers because he challenged them to a fight. The officers

were called when the suspect became belligerent, threatened a cab

driver and ran away. They found him hiding in the backyard of a

private residence.

SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT

* 500 block of South Victory Boulevard: A 21-year-old San Fernando

woman was arrested Saturday during a routine traffic stop on

suspicion of possessing methamphetamine.

* Olive Avenue and Victory Boulevard: A 21-year-old Tujunga man

was arrested Saturday during a routine traffic stop on suspicion of

possessing ecstasy.
