Serenade benefits Burroughs’ choirs
The John Burroughs High School choirs will host their annual
Spaghetti Serenade dinner to raise funds for choir activities. The
dinner is from 6 to 9 tonight in Trever Hall at the Burbank First
United Methodist Church, 700 N. Glenoaks Blvd.
Sal Palilla, owner of Santoro’s Submarine Sandwiches, and Connie
Trimble, whose family owned Barron’s Restaurant, will prepare the
dinner.
The school’s award-winning choir, students, alumni and parents
will provide the evening’s entertainment.
Money raised at this event pays for choir costs, including
transportation to competitions, costumes, sheet music and
accompanists.
Ticket are $6 for adults and $3 for children younger than 5.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or from any choir member.
