Holly Childers, a student at Northwestern University and a resident
of Burbank, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the Society of Allied
Weight Engineers. The society awards scholarships to deserving
students who are a child or grandchild of a current member.
Holly graduated from Burbank High School and is majoring in
physics and dance. Holly’s father is William Childers of the
society’s San Fernando Valley Chapter.

Lawrence D. Atienza, a graduate of John Burroughs High School and
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leopoldo Atienza, is a marketing major.
Molly R. Chance is a communication studies major.
Lindsey L. Kelley, a graduate of Flathead Christian School and the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas B. Kelley, is an English major.
Krikor Keshishian, a graduate of John Burroughs High School and
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Boghos Keshishian, is a psychology major.
Amber M. Wood, a graduate of John Burroughs High School and the
daughter of Debra Moss, is a social work major.
