More Halloween fun for, around Burbank
Local trick-or-treaters will have several options for fun events
around town during the days and nights leading up to, and including,
Halloween:
* George Washington Elementary School’s Halloween Fall Family
Festival features tricks-or-treats, face painting, prizes and games
from 2:15 to 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at 2322 N. Lincoln St.
* “Booo-tiful Downtown Burbank,” an event with bright orange
Halloween signs where businesses along North San Fernando Boulevard
between West Burbank Boulevard and Angeleno Avenue will give away
treats to children 10 and younger from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
* Rock ‘n’ roll band Cold Duck will perform from 6 to 9 p.m.
Friday in the AMC Entertainment Village’s open-air plaza at the
intersection of Palm Avenue and North San Fernando Boulevard.
* Halloween carnivals featuring games, prizes and a costume parade
are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday for elementary school children at
three locations: McCambridge Park, 1515 N. Glenoaks Blvd.; Olive
Recreation Center, 1111 W. Olive Ave.; and Vickroy Park, 2300
Monterey Place.
