Local students invited to Halloween dance

A Halloween dance for Burbank middle school students will be from 7

p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday at Verdugo Recreation Center, 3201 W. Verdugo

Ave.

Costumes and makeup are allowed but no masks. Regular school dress

codes will be enforced for students choosing not to wear costumes.

The cost is $5 and identification is required at the door. Raffle

prizes will be awarded and refreshments will be sold. The dance will

be chaperoned by Burbank Park, Recreation and Community Services

Department staff.

A deejay will also be spinning.

The skate park at 1625 N. Valley St. will be open from 3:30 p.m.

to 9 p.m., so students can also come there to cele- brate Halloween.

Pizza will be available at the park.
