Academy of Country Music hosts mixer
MEDIA DISTRICT WEST -- The Burbank Chamber of Commerce will have
its upcoming mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Academy of
Country Music, 4100 W. Alameda Ave., Suite 208.
Admission is $10 for members, $15 for nonmembers. The event will
include a cash drawing jackpot of $75.

State of the City address to be given
AIRPORT DISTRICT -- The State of the City Address and Luncheon
will begin 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Hilton Burbank Airport &
Convention Center, 2500 Hollywood Way.
Burbank Mayor Stacey Murphy will deliver the address, and Burbank
Chamber of Commerce awards will be given to the corporation of the
year and honorary lifetime member Robert “Bud” Ovrom.

Downtown building sold for $2.15M
SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT -- A 15,000- square-foot building in
downtown Burbank has sold for $2.15 million.
The Hartley Building, on a half-acre lot at 209 E. Alameda Ave.,
is a two-story structure owned by local investor Carole Hartley since
it was built in 1986. It was sold to the Lucille B. Silverstone
Trust. The building is fully leased to a variety of small- and
medium-sized tenants.
Cushman & Wakefield brokered the transaction for the seller.
The buyer’s broker was Stevenson Real Estate Services.
