Michelle Rea and Michael Mims, both of San Juan Capistrano, were

married at Newport Dunes Resort. The Rev. Dennis Short officiated.

Katie (Searock) Rowbotham and Amy (Segovia) Wolcott, both longtime

Burbank friends, were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristin Rea,

the bride’s cousin, and Jen Rucker, college roommate of the bride.

Doug Mims, brother of the groom, was best man. The groomsmen were

Matt Rea, brother of the bride, Brian Bayley, groom’s best friend and

Bill Rucker, a good friend of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Gwen Rea of Burbank. She

graduated from Burbank High School in 1994 and received her

bachelor’s degree from Cal State Long Beach. She is now an assistant

buyer at Billabong in Irvine.

The groom is the son of Doug and Edie Mims of Cedar Point, N.C.

The groom is a petty officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, now stationed

in San Pedro.
