Hike to explore Verdugos

The cities of Burbank and Glendale are hosting a community hike on

Saturday to explore the Verdugo Hills hiking trails.

Hikers will meet at 8 a.m. at one of three locations -- La Tuna

Canyon, at the intersection of La Tuna Canyon Road and the 210

Freeway in La Crescenta; Stough Canyon Nature Center, 2300 Walnut

Ave. in Burbank; and Brand Park, 1601 W. Mountain St. in Glendale.

Trail runners will meet at 7:30 a.m. at Brand Park.

Registration costs $10 and includes lunch, which will be served at

the summit.
