The following information was taken from police reports:

HILLSIDE DISTRICT

* 2000 block of Mansfield Street: A 20-year-old North Hollywood

man and a 21-year-old Sun Valley man were arrested Monday on

suspicion of stealing a pure-bred English bulldog from a 30-year-old

Burbank man. The suspects allegedly stole the dog from the man’s home

and took off in their vehicle when the victim was distracted. The

victim wrote down the license-plate number as the suspects were

leaving and gave it to police.

MEDIA DISTRICT WEST

* Olive and Alameda avenues: A 20-year-old Pasadena woman was

arrested Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence.

SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT

* 150 E. Angeleno Ave.: A 35-year-old Los Angeles man told police

Sunday that he was attacked by an unknown man while working as an

attendant at the Holiday Inn’s parking garage. The suspect refused to

pay the $8 parking fee, lifted the gate bar and punched the worker in

the chest before driving off.

MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH

* 1000 N. San Fernando Blvd.: A 25-year-old Los Angeles man was

arrested Saturday on suspicion of robbery after allegedly stealing 20

DVDs from Kmart and pushing an employee who tried to retrieve the

items.

BURBANK VILLAGE

* 112 N. San Fernando Blvd.: A 32-year-old Los Angeles man was

arrested Saturday for allegedly assaulting a 32-year-old Sylmar man

with salt and a shaker at Burbank Bar & Grill. The suspect reportedly

approached the man and his date on the bar’s dance floor, sprinkled

them with salt and hit the victim with the shaker. The victim

suffered redness to the face.

RANCHO DISTRICT

* Main Street and Alameda Avenue: A 34-year-old Burbank man was

arrested Saturday during a routine traffic stop on suspicion of

possessing methamphetamine.
