* Victory Boulevard and California Street: A 20-year-old Burbank

woman was arrested Friday during a routine traffic stop on suspicion

of possessing methamphetamine and a glass pipe.

* San Fernando Boulevard and Winona Avenue: A 33-year-old North

Hollywood man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possessing

methamphetamine and a glass pipe. The suspect pulled up to a police

officer who was engaged in a traffic stop, got out of the car and

said that he was poisoned. Since the suspect was exhibiting erratic

behavior, the officer searched him and found the drug and

paraphernalia. The man was held overnight at Providence St. Joseph

Medical Center.

BURBANK VILLAGE

* 200 block of East Olive Avenue: A 17-year- old Glendale girl

reported Wednesday that an unknown man approached her from behind,

slapped her on the head and ran away.

MAGNOLIA PARK

* Magnolia Boulevard and Screenland Avenue: A 42-year-old Silver

Lake man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of possessing

methamphetamine and a glass pipe. Police had stopped him for riding a

bicycle at night without a headlight.

* Catalina Street and Verdugo Avenue: A 30-year-old Burbank man

was arrested Monday during a routine traffic stop on suspicion of

possessing methamphetamine and a glass pipe.

MEDIA DISTRICT WEST

* 4000 block of West Alameda Avenue: A 24-year-old Burbank man was

arrested Monday during a routine traffic stop on suspicion of

possessing drug paraphernalia.
