Mall shopping will benefit schools

Share

With each purchase, Media City Center shoppers will help support

Burbank schools through May as part of the second annual “Cash Back

for Schools” program.

The mall is earmarking more than $25,000 from purchases made at

all retailers, restaurants and movies theaters along San Fernando

Boulevard between Magnolia and Burbank boulevards.

Shoppers must deposit their receipts in the “Cash Back for

Schools” lockers across from the customer service desk on the second

floor of the mall, 201 E. Magnolia Blvd. Those who want to save their

receipts can instead request a Points Pass to deposit in the lockers.

On May 24, the mall will announce the schools with the most points

and present cash prizes ranging from $500 to $2,500 in several

categories.
