HOLIDAY CLOSURES

The following places will be closed Thursday in observance of the

New Year’s Day holiday:

* All city offices, including City Hall.

* All libraries and post offices.

* All national and state government agencies, including Social

Security and DMV.

* The offices of the Burbank Leader and News-Press.

* Trash collection will proceed on schedule and most parks will be

open, as well as the police and fire departments.
