Mariel D. Lesaca, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Edward Lesaca of

Glendale, has been awarded dean’s honors by Glendale Community

College for superior academic achievement and outstanding scholastic

record for the fall semester. After finishing her Associate in Arts

degree at GCC, she plans to obtain her bachelor’s degree in

psychology at UCLA.

Courtney Glaser, the daughter of Gregory and Deidre Glaser of

Burbank, was named to the dean’s list at the University of Redlands.

Courtney is a 2003 graduate of Burbank High School. She would like to

become an ambassador or linguist.

Justin Umpierre of Burbank, who is a senior at Syracuse

University, was named to the fall dean’s list.

He is a triple major in television-radio-film, psychology and

Spanish.
