Brown -- Ortiz

Debra D. Brown, the daughter of Virginia Brown of Burbank, and

Ryan G. Ortiz, the son of Sergio and Yolanda Ortiz of Glendale, have

announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be graduated from Bellarmine-Jefferson High School in

1994 and received her associate in arts degree in interior design

from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 1996. She

is a designer and space planner for Trendway Corp. in downtown Los

Angeles.

The groom-elect graduated from Bellarmine-Jefferson High School in

1996 and has taken courses in film production at Glendale Community

College. He is employed by Linens-n- Things in the Empire Center in

Burbank.
