Shelter fundraiser tickets go on sale

Burbank Animal Shelter volunteers will have a fundraiser at 6 p.m.

Oct. 17 at The Castaway Restaurant.

“Jazz It Up for Animals” features live music, a silent auction and

will be co-hosted by Burbank residents, actress Linda Blair and Clive

Pearse, of HGTV’s “Design to Sell.”

Proceeds benefit services and programs, such as the kitten foster

program, pet therapy at retirement homes, and it will also help

animals with surgical and other medical needs.

Tickets are $70 each, or $130 per couple.

The Castaway is at 1250 Harvard Rd.
