Farscape fans to meet up in Burbank

MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH -- Fans of Farscape, Jim Henson Television’s

original series airing on Sci-Fi Channel, will have a chance to meet

when Creation Entertainment presents the fifth annual Official

Farscape Convention.

The event is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the

Burbank Airport Hilton, 2500 Hollywood Way, Burbank.

Cast members are scheduled to appear throughout the weekend.

Behind-the-scenes footage, on-stage presentations, contests, and a

variety of licensed Farscape merchandise will be featured.

Celebrity speakers appearing on Friday will be Wayne Pygram,

Virginia Hey and Bianca Chiminello. On Saturday, celebrity guests

will be Gigi Edgley, Anthony Simcoe and David Franklin; and on

Sunday, it will be Ben Browder and Claudia Black.

Convention hours are noon to 6 p.m. daily.

Admission tickets are available in advance for $25 on Friday and

Saturday, and $35 for Sunday, through Ticketmaster outlets. At the

door, tickets are $30 for Friday or Saturday, and $40 for Sunday.
