The Glendale Community Concert Assn. presents the Towne Singers,

La Canada Flintridge’s 100-voice theatrical chorus, at 2:30 p.m. at

the Glendale High School Auditorium, 1440 E. Broadway, Glendale.

Tickets are $10 at the door. Titled “Our Towne,” the program

selections were chosen in preparation for the group’s upcoming

performance tour of the British Isles. Songs to be performed include

Manhattan Transfer’s arrangement of “Java Jive” and a jazz-tinged

version of “I’m Beginning to See the Light” performed by the group’s
