All-classes reunion at park
John Burroughs and Burbank high schools will have their all class
reunion from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Johnny Carson Park, 400
Bob Hope Drive.
This is the fifth year of the reunion, which brings both Bulldogs
and Indians together in a non-competitive event.
The day will feature a picnic, music, door prizes and a classic
car show.
The donation is $2. To enter a car into the classic car show,

Spaces available for park program
Space for the Art Experiences program through Burbank Park,
Recreation and Community Services Department are still available.
The program takes students ages 6 to 11 on a global tour of music,
dance, theater and art through classroom plays, dances and crafts.
From Monday through July 29, students will learn about Latino arts
and culture.
From Aug. 1 through 5, students will learn about Asian arts, like
Kabuki, anime, yoga and origami. From Aug. 8 through 12, they will
learn about American artists, dance and music.
During the last week, Aug. 15 through 1,9 will be a world
festival, covering celebrations from around the world.
