GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
The board approved revisions made to graduation requirements that
would allow students to substitute language units for vocational and
career-technical requirements.
High school students will be allowed to substitute 30 units of one
foreign language for their vocational and career-technical
requirement.

Students in high school can now apply 30 units of the same foreign
language to satisfy the vocational and career-technical graduation
requirement.
This change will allow college-bound students class options that
will ease their schedules, Sue Boegh, director of educational support
services said.
