Twelve young women, who are members of the Ticktocker Class of 2007 of Burbank Chapter of National Charity League, were honored for their volunteer achievements at the annual Senior Presentation at the Biltmore Hotel.
During her years in NCL, Allyce Archie, daughter of Lee Gonsalves and Arcellious Archie, enjoyed working with children at events for philanthropies such as ChildShare and the Braille Institute.
Jillian Bartels, daughter of Claire Mukri and Walt Bartels, enjoyed being class president and described the girls in the Class of 2007 as her second family, comforting and caring with lots of smiles.
Natasha Christoffersen is the daughter of Karen Christoffersen and John Capellaro. Over her six years In NCL, Natasha was recognized every year for having volunteered more than 3,000 hours.
Alexandra Halloran, daughter of Rayma and Kevin Halloran, was in NCL for six years and each of those years she earned the Ticktocker Achievement Award.
Lauren Hanna, daughter of Theresa and David Hanna, volunteered at many NCL philanthropies including Ahead with Horses and Burbank Rose Float.
Samantha Koll is the daughter of Marsha Munemura and Roger Koll. Samantha’s most memorable NCL philanthropy experience was volunteering with the YMCA Childcare Summer Program where she enjoyed working with the program’s children.
Rachel Lizotte is the daughter of Linda Lindley Lizotte and Ron Desormeaux. In NCL, Rachel made many strong friendships and strengthened her bond with her mother.
Marissa Pearson is the daughter of Maria Bacchetta. Her favorite philanthropy experience in NCL with her mom was at Tierra Del Sol.
Kristi Riley is the daughter of Cori and Joe Riley. In NCL, Kristi’s favorite experience was working with her mom at Project Angel Food and Child Share.
Katie Shaw is the daughter of Mary Jo and Jonathan Shaw. In NCL, her favorite memory was delivering Christmas baskets to local families with her mom.
Stephanie Stumbaugh is daughter of Pam Stumbaugh and Jeff Stumbaugh. In NCL she enjoyed serving as class president and delivering the Christmas baskets to needy families.
Aliza Vecchiarelli is the daughter of Wendy and Jim Vecchiarelli. In NCL, Aliza is most proud of her many hours of service at Burbank Temporary Aid Center.
