KENNETH G. BARNETT

Kenneth G. Barnett died on Wednesday in his home in Burbank of an apparent heart attack. He was 89.

Barnett owned Barnett Buick on San Fernando Road. Aside from his business, he was active member of the community.

He served on the board of directors of St. Joseph’s Medical Center Foundation.

In 1958, he joined the Burbank Chamber of Commerce and sat on the chamber’s committees.

Barnett was also a member and director of the Burbank Shrine Club and Burbank Optimist Club.

Born on July 11, 1917, in Los Angeles, Barnett moved to Burbank in 1956 where he lived for 50 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille, of 67 years; son Ross and grandchildren Jeremy, Meredith and Christina.

The Barnett family will be having a celebration of life at Barnett’s home today in lieu of a memorial service.

The family requests donations be sent to St. Joseph’s Medical Center Guild.

ELIO SUAREZ

Elio Suarez died on Tuesday. He was 97.

Suarez was born on April 15, 1910, in Cuba. He as a 37-year Burbank resident.

Suarez is survived by his wife, Maria, children Gabriel Suarez, Christina Mccombs, Isabel Aguilar and Daniel Suarez and eight grandchildren.

Services have passed.

BERTHA NICOLETTI

Bertha Nicoletti died on Tuesday in Van Nuys. She was 96.

Nicoletti was born on Nov. 6, 1910, in Guanajuato, Salamenca, Mexico. She was a 49-year resident of Burbank.

She is survived by her son Nicholas E. Nicoletti.

ZOILA BONILLA

Zoila Bonilla died on April 19 in Los Angeles. She was 83.

Bonilla was born on Feb. 22, 1924, in Lima, Peru. She was a 20-year resident of Burbank.

Bonilla is survived by her husband Lucio J. Bonilla, sons Jorge, Lucio, Esteban and Marco Bonilla and daughter Ana Uzategui.

A viewing will be from 4 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Finbar Catholic Church in Burbank. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills.
