WEDDING

STERN — WILSON

Debi Lee Stern and Keith David Wilson, both Dallas residents, were married during a June wedding in the Conservatory of the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, Mich.

The Rev. Clint Hufft of California served as the wedding officiate.

The bride attended Burbank High School and was a gymnastics instructor for the city of Burbank Park, Recreation and Community Services Department for seven years.

Keith and Debi share a passion for all types of sports and the fitness lifestyle.

The Wilson family is of Scottish descent, and to honor the family heritage the wedding was Scottish-themed. Keith wore the traditional black watch tartan. A bagpiper led Keith in the procession, followed by Keith’s two sons, Adam Dane Wilson and Kyle Case Wilson, escorting maidens of honor Shelli Margheritis and Taryn Huizenga.

Lauren Wilson served as a junior bridesmaid, followed by flower girls Sophia and Ava Williams. Special thanks are extended to Joseph Bement and Madeline Williams, greeters.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by dear friend Steven C. Wagner. Friends and family from all over the country witnessed the exchange of vows between the couple.

The bride is a Burbank native and the oldest of three daughters of Paul and Nancy Prater.

The groom is a Clawson, Mich., native, and the oldest son of Shirley and Frank Wilson.

The reception immediately followed with a nationally competitive team of Highland Fling dancers performing traditional Scottish dances. The wedding bands, of 13th century Celtic design with a warrior shield, were specifically chosen to represent oneness.

The couple’s motto is “All for one and one for all.” The rings were hallmarked and registered at Dublin Castle in Dublin, Ireland.

For the honeymoon, the couple plan to tour the many castles of Scotland and explore the Wilson heritage.
