OBITUARY

THELMA M. WALLEN

Thelma M. Wallen died Jan. 21 at her Burbank home. She was 95.

She was born Nov. 10, 1913, in Minneapolis.

She met her husband, Charles W. Wallen, during their senior year at North High School in Minneapolis. They graduated in 1932 and were married on March 30, 1937. They were married for 71 years.

In 1949 they came to Burbank, where they have lived in the same home since.

She was a homemaker and loved cooking and baking. Her hobbies were playing bridge and golf. She was a charter member of the Women’s Golf Club of DeBell.

She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Wallen of Burbank; two sons Gary Wallen of Madera, Calif., and Jeffrey Wallen of Burbank; and three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were private.
