The following were taken from daily booking reports from the Burbank Police Department.
AREA 1
200 block of East Cedar Avenue
Fermin Casillas, 38, of Sun Valley, was arrested Oct. 28 on suspicion of endangering a child, vandalism and disturbing the peace. Casillas was allegedly involved in a family argument that quickly escalated. He allegedly smashed a living room window. The glass from the window fell on top of a 14-year-old who was sitting on the living room couch. Casillas allegedly was intoxicated and bled heavily from his arm.
100 block of South First Street
Sean Cordon, 23, of Los Angeles, was arrested Monday on robbery and domestic violence charges. Officers determined that a married couple were in a scuffle after the husband accused the wife of infidelity. The man allegedly forcibly took his wife’s phone.
226 South Keystone Avenue
Robbery suspects pried open a screen and opened the window. The suspect is described as a Latino or white man, about 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 240 pounds wearing a white shirt, black jeans, with a black crew-cut.
230 East Valencia Avenue,
Suspects broke into a laundry room and pried open the coin-operated washers and dryers, stealing about $300 in quarters.
3300 North Glenoaks Boulevard
A man assaulted a 41-year-old Burbank resident with a knife Oct. 12 after a dispute between the two drivers, who had pulled into a Glenoaks Boulevard parking lot to argue about a road-rage incident. The suspect held a knife to the Burbank resident’s head, but backed off. The suspect later followed the resident to a liquor store on Buena Vista Street and Victory Boulevard, where he slashed a tire of the resident’s car.
AREA 2
4200 block of West McFarlane Avenue
A 58-year-old Burbank woman allegedly tried to kill herself by overdosing on medication. She was found by her husband inside their home. She allegedly complained of having financial issues and had become depressed.
1830 North Frederic Street
Suspects pried open a bedroom window and stole men’s and women’s jewelry, a laptop, credit cards and cash.
306 North Catalina Street
Suspects pried open an entry door latch. Losses are unknown.
1920 West Clark Avenue
A man got out of his car brandishing a knife in front of John Burroughs High School on Oct. 15, when he confronted a 46-year old Burbank man who had stepped out of his car and motioned at the suspect to move his vehicle so he could park. The resident then returned to his vehicle, and the suspect drove away.
