The following were taken from daily booking reports from the Burbank Police Department.

AREA 1

Burbank and Vineland boulevards

Patrol officers saw a driver who was not wearing his seat belt and attempted to stop him for the violation before he took off through residential streets at speeds in excess of 70 mph in a 25 mph zone. The motorist on March 2 drove through several red lights and stop signs for nearly four miles before being boxed in at West Victory Boulevard and Manning Street. Armen Dzharadzhyan, 23, of Burbank was booked at the police station for driving under the influence before officers discovered that his vehicle was reported stolen by the Los Angeles Police Department. The victim in that case had been car-jacked. Dzharadzhyan, who had two outstanding warrants for assault and battery, was booked on charges related to the stolen vehicle.

Victory Boulevard and Chestnut Street

Police and fire officials were dispatched March 24 to where a man was trapped under a truck. They found the man, who is believed to be a mechanic working on a car-hauler, trapped and unconscious. The man had the driver of the car-hauler start the engine to disengage the air-brake. The hauler was in gear and lurched forward, trapping the man. He was taken to a local trauma center. His condition was unknown.

Main Street and Alameda Avenue

A witness told police they saw an eastbound vehicle run a red light at high speeds. As the car rounded the corner approaching Chavez Street, it lost control and began skidding, crossing over into westbound traffic lanes and hitting three parked cars and a tree before coming to a stop on Alameda Avenue. The driver was transported to USC-Los Angeles County Medical Center with serious injuries. His condition was unknown.

AREA 2

1200 Glenoaks Boulevard

Thieves entered a construction site through an unlocked door and stole a stove and a microwave oven.
