The following were taken from daily booking reports at the Burbank Police Department.

AREA 1

2200 block of Empire Avenue As part of patrols targeting narcotics, gangs and prostitution, officers on May 19 arrested Stephen Espadron, 26, of Richmond, Timothy Harris, 28, of San Diego, Raynette Owens, 20, of Antioch, and Stephanie Barnett, 18, of Santa Fe Springs.

Officers at the Extended Stay Hotel contacted three men sitting in a parked car and smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. During an investigation, officers found that two of the men had a large amount of cash.

After officers received consent to search the hotel room, they found women inside who admitted to prostitution.

During the investigation, officers discovered that the women advertised on the Internet.

The women were arrested on suspicion of loitering with the intent to commit prostitution, while the men were arrested for allegedly pimping.

300 block of North Screenland Drive Thieves on May 18 entered an apartment through an unlocked sliding door and stole a Dell laptop and Nintendo Wii console.

AREA 2

900 block of North Third Street A Burbank resident on May 15 parked her 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe in the Burbank High School parking lot. The woman returned about two hours later and discovered that her vehicle had been burglarized and the third-row seat was missing.

900 block of Tufts Avenue Residents on May 19 reported seeing two Latino men between the ages of 30 and 40 years old break into their home through a back door. Their vehicle was described as gray or blue, possibly from the early ‘90s.
