AREA 1

McCambridge Park

A man who police believe was suffering from depression was discovered Wednesday hanging from a park tree. Police said the body of the man, who is not being identified because of the apparent suicide, was discovered by a pair walking through the park. The body was removed by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

AREA 2

???San Fernando Boulevard and East Angeleno Avenue

Police on June 17 responded to Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant and were told that a large fight broke out during the championship game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics. During the game, a combatant threw a beer mug at another man. Police later arrested William Kittinger, 24, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon — the beer mug. The man hit by the mug was treated at the scene for laceration to the head.
