The following were taken from reports filed with the Burbank Police Department.

AREA 1

Intersection of Magnolia Boulevard and North Lima Street

A 44-year-old woman was attacked by another woman with a large wooden stick at 12:15 a.m. on Aug. 23. The victim fought back and the suspect ran down Magnolia Boulevard. The suspect was described as Latino, in her 20s, 5 feet tall, heavyset and wearing a black-and-white shirt. There are two other possible suspects, both males wearing dark clothing.

2500 block of North Hollywood Way

A witness heard the sound of a cutting saw from underneath a vehicle in a McDonald’s parking lot. When he approached the vehicle, he saw a suspect get up from underneath the Toyota pickup and walk away. After an area check, officers determined the truck’s catalytic converter had been cut, but not removed. The two suspects, both male, were described as being Latino and between 20 to 30 years old.

AREA 2

Intersection of North Third Street and Bethany Road

At 12:15 p.m. on Aug. 20 a 16-year-old female Burbank High School student was walking home when a man called out from his vehicle to get her attention. She looked over and saw the driver’s genitals through his pants. The student ran away and later returned to school to report the incident. The suspect was described as Latino, 35 to 40 years old, 250 pounds with dark skin and dark hair in a pony-tail and driving a red compact vehicle.

1000 block of North San Fernando Boulevard

At 11:28 p.m. on Aug. 25, two men entered a CVS store and robbed the cash registers at gunpoint. The men were described as black, in their early 20s, and entered a waiting car before driving off in an unknown direction. Both men wore bandanas over their faces. Police were unable to find any possible suspects after a search of the area.
