Police Report

The following were taken from reports filed with the Burbank Police Department.

AREA 1

1300 block of North Buena Vista Street

At 12:55 p.m. on Sept. 2, officers responded to a call about a man pointing a handgun at his girlfriend after arguing over a personal problem. The suspect, John Biggart, 48, was found circling the neighborhood in his vehicle. He was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

AREA 2

1200 block of North San Fernando Boulevard

At 8:55 p.m. on Aug. 30, a man in his early 20s entered the San Fernando Cigarette Shop and demanded cash from the register. After the cashier handed over all the cash, the man left the store in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as black, 5 foot 6 inches to 5 foot 8 inches tall, and as wearing blue jeans, a red shirt, a gray coat and had a fake beard.
