The following were taken from reports filed with the Burbank Police Department.

AREA 1

2500 block of West Burbank Boulevard

At 8:15 p.m. Sept. 11, three armed men wearing ski masks entered a liquor store and demanded the cash from the register. After the clerk gave the suspects cash, they fled in an unknown direction. The suspects were described as being between the ages of 18 and 20.

1500 block of Hollywood Way

At 2:40 a.m. Sept. 15, two men broke a vehicle’s front window using a bottle with a piece of rag that appeared to be burned. A witness said the men were standing near the vehicle when the car’s alarm was set off. Both appeared to be in their early 20s and were wearing dark clothing.

2600 block of West Victory Boulevard

At 1:30 a.m. Sept. 19, a grocery store clerk refused to sell beer to an intoxicated customer. The suspect, Kolby McMurray, 28, became upset and began threatening the employees with the knife and chased one of the employees around the produce section with the weapon until he was detained by Burbank police. McMurray, a Burbank resident, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

AREA 2

600 block of North San Fernando Boulevard

Between 11:30 a.m. and noon Sept. 20, a 2007 GMC pickup truck was broken into and a DVD, GPS, digital camera and cash were stolen. The vehicle was parked in the IKEA structure, and the driver’s-side door lock appeared to be punched in.
