Police Report

The following were taken from reports filed with the Burbank Police Department.

AREA 1

1100 block of North Sparks Street

At 1:05 p.m. on Sept. 30, a man wearing a bike helmet entered a Burbank woman’s garage and left with a plastic bag containing 36 rolls of toilet paper. The resident confronted the man, who apologized and fled down the alley. Police were unable to locate the man, who was described as in his 20s, Latino, with a medium build and short dark hair.

AREA 2

500 block of East Cedar Avenue

At 11:36 p.m. on Oct. 1, a mother called the police when her bipolar son became violent after not taking his medication. The son punched one of the officers twice in the face and following repeated warnings, the suspect was hit with a Taser. He was transported to a local hospital and held for a psychiatric evaluation.
