The following were taken from reports filed with the Burbank Police Department.

Area 1

Intersection of Magnolia Boulevard and South Front Street

At 10:35 a.m. on Oct. 15, two employees of a lumber company became involved in a verbal argument, during which one of them swung a piece of lumber at the other, striking his forearm and his hand. The victim was treated for his injuries at a medical office, but the police were unable to contact the suspect on scene after he went home for the day.

1200 block of West Burbank Boulevard

Between 5 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 14 to Oct. 17, a residential burglary occurred. The residence was likely entered via an open bathroom window. An Apple computer and a Dell computer laptop were taken.

Area 2

Intersection of North Keystone Street and Scott Road

At 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 12, a 39-year-old Burbank woman parked her 2007 Toyota Sequoia on the street. When she returned a short time later she discovered the car’s catalytic converter had been stolen. No suspects were seen.
