The following were taken from reports filed with the Burbank Police Department.

Area 1

2500 block of West Burbank Boulevard

At 11:03 p.m. on Dec. 15 a man entered Aero Liquor armed with a handgun and demanded all the clerks behind the counter and a customer lay on the floor. The man, wearing a black bandana over his face, a dark hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black gloves, took all the cash from the register and the customer’s car keys. The customer later found her keys outside her vehicle. Police found no possible suspects during an area search.

Area 2

Intersection of North Brighton Street and Tulare Avenue

At 8:24 p.m. on Dec. 16 two officers stopped Burbank resident Louis Hutchins, 52, for driving between two lanes and detected the smell of marijuana in his vehicle. While searching Hutchins’ vehicle, the officers found a suspected “rock cocaine” in a pack of cigarettes, numerous small plastic bags containing a white powdery substance suspected to be methamphetamine or cocaine and a “crack pipe” hidden in Hutchins’ socks. Hutchins was arrested for drug possession and transportation.

100 block of East Orange Grove Avenue

Between 8:05 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 15 a 2000 Honda Accord was broken into while parked in the “Islands” structure in Downtown Burbank. An in-dash GPS and radio system and a manicure kit were taken from the vehicle. There were no signs of forced entry.
