The following were taken from reports filed with the Burbank Police Department.

Area 1

2100 block of Pepper Street

At 10:55 a.m. on Dec. 28, a man around 20 years of age with a light gray shirt was seen attempting to crawl through a broken patio window. The woman who lived at the residence screamed when she saw the man, who then fled. Burbank police were unable to locate anyone who matched the description during an area search.

Area 2

100 block of North San Fernando Boulevard

At 1:45 a.m. on Dec. 28, three men were arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, battery and public drunkeness at the Fantasia Billiards. Wolfgang Hohl, 51, of Glendale, Carlos Romero, 49, of Los Angeles and Jose Lopez, 35, of Tujunga allegedly became angry when security guards asked them to leave and started a fight. The three men were arrested after Burbank police arrived on scene.

Intersection of North 6th Street and East Harvard Road

At 11:40 pm. on Dec. 29, Burbank police pulled over a suspicious vehicle after it drove through an alley with its headlights turned off and through a stop sign. The four men inside appeared nervous and when searching the vehicle, officers allegedly found flashlights, wire cutters, a hammer, black gloves and door punches. Fernando Nogal, 23, Luis Hernandez, 34, Alejandro Nogal, 27, and Jaime De Los Santos, 32, all of Sun Valley were arrested on suspicion of possessing burglary tools.

700 block of Walnut Avenue

Between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. sometime between Dec. 15 and Dec. 29, a residential burglary occurred. Computers and jewelry were taken from the home. A spare key might have been used to enter the residence.
