Police Report - Jan. 15, 2011

The following were taken from reports filed with the Burbank Police Department.

Area 1

1000 block of West Burbank Boulevard

Between 1:11 p.m. and 2:11 p.m. on Jan. 8, a Sun Valley woman discovered the third-row seat in her 2007 Chevrolet Suburban stolen while it was parked at the Costco parking lot. There were no signs of forced entry.

2200 block of North Catalina Street

Between 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 30 and 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 9, a residential burglary occurred at a laundry room. About $100 was taken in coins.

2300 block of Kenmere Avenue

Between 4 p.m. on Jan. 8 and 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 9, a laundry room door was pried open, although there was no loss reported.

Area 2

2200 block of North Orchard Drive

Between 11 p.m. on Jan. 7 and 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 8, a truck tailgate was stolen off a Burbank man’s 2005 Toyota Tacoma, which was parked in front of his home.

100 block of East Orange Grove Avenue

At 4 p.m. on Jan. 10, a 2007 Cadillac Escalade had its rear emblem and two side grilles stolen while parked in the Islands restaurant parking structure.

300 block of Birmingham Road

Between 8:40 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 10, a residential burglary occurred. Two laptop computers were taken from the home after the front door was pried open.

600 block of East Orange Grove Avenue

Between 8:10 a.m. and 4:25 p.m. on Jan. 10, a residential burglary occurred. Jewelry, a Wii console and video games were taken.
