Burbank police are searching for those responsible for 11 paintball assaults in the Hillside and Valley areas earlier this week.

The first victim was shot around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday while walking near North Kenneth Road and Bethany Road, and the attacks returned around 8 a.m. and just after 3 p.m. Thursday, police reported.

All victims told police that the shots came from inside a moving vehicle, and the timing of the attacks took place immediately before and after school hours. No children were harmed in the attacks.

The assaults were spread evenly across the Hillside and Valley areas of Burbank — four occurring along North Kenneth Road and others near Clark Avenue and North Parish Place.

Police warn residents to be on the lookout for the following vehicles: a gold Ford, Honda or Toyota SUV with a roof rack that appears dirty; maroon Honda CRV; newer blue Ford Mustang; dark-colored GMC Yukon or Chevrolet Tahoe SUV.

The suspects have been described as a white man in his late 20s with a husky build and bushy blond hair who was accompanied by three other occupants in his vehicle; white males around 16 years old; four to five teenagers; one white man in his 20s; and two white men and one black man between the ages of 20 and 25.

Anyone with information should call Burbank police at (818) 238-3000.
