Daniel Roh, owner of La Paz Liquor at 4101 W. Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank, will receive a check for $50,000 after a $10-million SuperLotto Plus ticket to a customer who has yet to come forward.

While it’s not the first “win” for Roh, the latest odds beater is certainly the largest, he said.

“We’ve had small winners several times,” said Roh, who runs the store seven days a week with his wife. “But this is definitely the first time for a $10-million winner.”

The winner, who will chose whether to make his name public, can collect his prize beginning Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the Van Nuys lottery district office, said California State Lottery spokesman Elias Dominguez.

The man, who Roh says lives nearby the store, could cash in on $5.8 million if he takes a lump sum payout.

The winner came in to share the news at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning, Roh said.

“He comes in all the time and is a daily player,” he said. “Usually he used to play Fantasy 5, but whenever he had the chance he would go for the big one.”

La Paz Liquor has been in Burbank for the past 12 years and Roh said he is glad to have the extra money coming in, especially since business has been slow.

“I expect and hope to have more customers,” he said. “The money will help make up for the business.”

If the winner chooses to receive 26 annual payments, his first check will come in at $250,000 and will increase by a tenth of a percent each year until his last check for $510,000.

The winning numbers were 6, 7, 12, 19, 30 and mega-number 10.

He had a 1 in 41,416,353 chance of winning, according to state lottery records.

FOR THE RECORD: This corrects an earlier version to make clear that Roh will recieve the $50,000 regardless of whether the ticket holder comes forward.
