Morning fog, below normal temps in forecast until Sunday

The low pressure weather system that’s settled into the area, bringing with it morning fog and well-below normal temperatures, won’t start letting up until this weekend, according to the National National Service.

That means daytime highs won’t get much past the upper-70s for much of the week -- a far cry from the stifling heat of last week.

A high pressure system is expected to move into the area on Sunday, potential bringing the mercury back up into the low-90s on Sunday, according to the weather service.
