Obituary: Wesley J.J. Stone

Wesley J.J. Stone died July 23 of complications from acute pancreatitis. He was 55.

Born May 25, 1956, in Lewiston, Idaho, Stone grew up in Eagle Rock but lived in Burbank since 1987. He was active at Calvary Bible Church in Burbank, as well as the Burbank Park & Recreation Department’s men’s softball and basketball leagues.

Stone also coached many youth baseball and softball teams in Burbank.

He is survived by wife, Robin Clark Stone; daughters Jennifer Stone Edenfield, Lisa Stone, Tracy Stone; and son Gregory Stone. He is also survived by his brothers, Jim and David; sisters Jenifer Abramson, Judi Stone Mellon, Jackie Stone and Junella Stone Berrou; son-in-law Orrin Edenfield; and a grandson.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. today at Calvary Bible Church in Burbank.
